The 9th International Conference on Cartography and GIS will take place in Nessebar, Bulgaria on 16-21 June 2024. The ICCGIS is a biannual conference that started in 2006 and since then it welcomes scientists from all over the world to its very successful and fruitful events in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2022. For those 18 years of experience, the Conference had attendees from more than 60 countries and has published more than 700 scientific papers in its proceedings.

The aim of the conference is to collect knowledge and share experiences about the latest achievements in the field of cartography and GIS. Multiple parallel events take place during the conference, including annual meetings of ICA commissions, exhibition of maps and other cartographic products, and demonstrations of software and hardware products.
Seminar on Disaster Risk Reduction – Solutions and Innovations organized in cooperation with ICA Commission on Cartography in Early Warning and Crisis Management and Department of Geography, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic will be a special part of the conference.
Every year the Conference supports its young participants and awards the best paper presented by a student.
